When former school principal Kip McGrath and his wife Dugnija opened the first Kip McGrath Education Centre 30 years ago, their founding belief was simple; "Any child can learn if they are taught properly".

Looking ahead has always been part of our approach - part of our success was being one of the first educators in the world to understand the potential of computers and the creation of innovative programs in intelligence development and school readiness.
Now, as part of the company's future growth plans, and firm belief in making private tutoring available to anyone who needs it, we're further developing our educational software and will be launching a range of new online learning courses - backed by face-to-face support through our tutoring centres.
Kip McGrath Education Centres is proud to be partnered with the Institute of Technology Australia (IOTA). They offer affordable Business and Information Technology degrees via an innovative online learning model. Students can undertake both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diplomas or certificates that have practical applications in the business world.
Today Kip and Dugnija McGrath are still actively involved in the day-to-day running of the company and are members of the Board. The company's head office is based in Newcastle, Australia where it originated.
